1989 Mercury Grand Marquis Rental Added in Florida

Picture Car Company has added this 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis to its Florida picture car rental offerings through the USA Movie Cars network. The vehicle sits in Deltona, Florida, giving crews working across the state access to a beige four-door sedan with a brown interior listed as all original. Productions filming in Florida can now consider this 1989 model for scenes that need a period sedan without traveling far for local options.

Spotlight on this 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis

The listing shows a creme-colored exterior paired with a brown interior. It carries a GS trim package and rides on an automatic transmission with gasoline power. The body style is a four-door sedan, and the source material notes the vehicle remains all original. These details give location managers and prop masters a clear picture of what the car presents on camera when placed in 1980s settings.

Crews often look for vehicles that read as everyday transportation from the era rather than showpieces. This Grand Marquis fits that need with its standard sedan profile and factory colors. The beige and brown combination appears in many period photographs and footage from the late 1980s, which helps it blend into background traffic or parked shots without drawing extra attention.

Picture Car Company and the Florida Picture Car Market

Picture Car Company works with the USA Movie Cars network to connect productions with vehicles listed across different states. When a car appears in Deltona, Florida, the network routes it to regional searches so location teams do not have to scan multiple unrelated sites. USA Movie Cars maintains similar partnerships with state picture-car sites such as Florida Picture Cars to reduce the time crews spend locating local options.

Deltona sits in central Florida, which places the vehicle within reasonable range of Orlando, Tampa, and Daytona Beach production zones. Producers scouting Florida film car resources can review the listing details and then decide whether the sedan matches the visual tone needed for a given scene. The network approach keeps the process straightforward for both independent filmmakers and larger commercial shoots.

History of the 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis

The Mercury Grand Marquis entered the 1980s as a full-size sedan built on a rear-wheel-drive platform. By 1989 the model had settled into a long-running body style that emphasized comfort and size over sporty lines. Many fleets and private owners chose the Grand Marquis for its roomy cabin and durable mechanical layout, which made the sedan a common sight on American roads during that decade.

The four-door configuration and automatic transmission reflected the standard equipment most buyers selected at the time. Beige exteriors with brown interiors showed up frequently in dealer order sheets because those colors required minimal maintenance and appealed to a broad range of customers. The 1989 model year sits squarely inside the 1980s era, so the sedan carries the visual cues producers associate with that period without needing additional modification.

Florida Picture Car Rental Uses

Producers can place the Grand Marquis in establishing shots that show 1980s residential streets or office parking lots. Its all-original condition and period colors supply background texture that supports both foreground action and wider frames. The sedan also works for character vehicles when a script calls for an everyday driver rather than a standout sports car.

Music videos and still photography shoots in Florida often need vehicles that fill space without competing with talent or product placement. This beige sedan can sit in the distance or serve as a foreground prop when crews want an authentic 1980s touch. Commercial and branded content projects sometimes request undercover or vintage police car looks, and the listing tags note those possible directions for crews that need such references.
