1985 Chevrolet C-10 Rental Added in Florida

Picture Car Company has added a 1985 Chevrolet C-10 to its Florida picture car rental options through the USA Movie Cars network. Located in Ocala, Florida, the truck gives crews working in the state a straightforward way to source a period-appropriate vehicle without long-distance transport. Florida film car and Florida movie car searches often focus on vehicles that can handle both close-up and background roles, and this listing fits that need.

Spotlight on this 1985 Chevrolet C-10

The truck appears as a clean orange single cab with ghost flames across the hood. Its two-door configuration and black interior keep the focus on the exterior color and flame detail, which stand out in daylight or under set lighting. The 454 big block motor is noted in the listing, and the automatic transmission supports simple movement shots on set.

Producers can use the truck to add texture to scenes set in the 1980s without drawing attention away from the main action. The orange paint and flame graphics give it a distinct look that reads as era-correct yet not overly customized. Location managers working in central Florida can pair this vehicle with rural roads or small-town backdrops common in the Ocala area.

Ocala, Florida sits in a region that sees both commercial and narrative work. Having a truck already in the area reduces travel time for crews based in central or northern parts of the state. Picture Car Company continues to expand its Florida listings so coordinators can match vehicles to specific script requirements without relying solely on out-of-state transport.

History of the 1985 Chevrolet C-10

The C-10 nameplate covered Chevrolet’s light-duty pickup line through the 1980s. In 1985 the model carried forward the square-body styling introduced earlier in the decade, with options for single cab and various bed lengths. These trucks were common work vehicles at the time and remain recognizable in footage set during that period.

The Custom Deluxe trim package offered a step up from base models while keeping the overall appearance practical. Orange paint was a factory-available color, and aftermarket graphics such as ghost flames were popular modifications during the era. The combination of standard body style and period detailing makes the C-10 useful for establishing shots or character vehicles without requiring extensive set dressing.

Florida Picture Car Rental Uses

This 1985 Chevrolet C-10 works for period scenes set in the 1980s, whether in rural or suburban settings. Crews can place it in driveways, parking lots, or along roadsides to build background texture. The single cab limits passenger capacity, which can help define character roles when the truck appears in dialogue scenes.

Commercials and still photography benefit from the truck’s bright color and flame detail. Music videos and branded content can use it as a supporting element that reinforces a vintage or regional feel. Event planners have also placed similar trucks in displays where a functional, era-correct pickup adds atmosphere without needing mechanical restoration.
