1978 f350 Rental Added in Florida

Picture Car Company has added the 1978 f350 through the USA Movie Cars network. The truck sits in Orange park, Florida, giving productions working in the region a local option for Florida picture car rental without long-distance transport. Crews filming in Florida can contact the network to review details and arrange use for scenes that call for a 1970s-era work truck.

Spotlight on this 1978 f350

The vehicle carries a black exterior and black interior with four doors. It runs on diesel through an automatic transmission and shows a lifted stance that changes its profile compared with stock trucks of the same year. These traits give it a distinct presence for shots where a rugged, raised truck fits the environment or character.

Producers can use the truck for scenes that need visual weight on screen. The black color scheme blends into night work or urban backdrops, while the lifted height adds separation from standard vehicles in background traffic or parked establishing shots. Location managers in Orange park, Florida, often look for vehicles that read as period without drawing extra attention unless the story requires it.

Picture Car Company and the Florida Picture Car Market

Picture Car Company works with USA Movie Cars to connect productions with vehicles listed across the country. USA Movie Cars partners with state picture-car sites such as Florida Picture Cars to help crews locate trucks and cars that are already in the area where filming is planned. This arrangement reduces travel time and keeps more of the rental budget inside the local market.

Orange park, Florida, sits in a region that sees steady commercial and television work. Having the 1978 f350 listed locally means Florida movie car searches can surface the truck quickly when a script calls for a diesel-powered Ford from the late 1970s. The network approach lets coordinators compare options across multiple states while still booking from a single contact point.

History of the 1978 f350

Ford introduced the F-350 as part of its heavy-duty pickup line in the 1970s. The 1978 model year fell within the sixth generation of the F-Series, a period when buyers chose these trucks for towing, construction support, and farm work. Diesel engines and automatic transmissions became common options for crews that needed reliability over long hours.

The four-door configuration and truck body style matched the needs of businesses that carried multiple passengers plus tools or equipment. Black paint was a standard fleet color, so the exterior finish aligns with many period photographs and reference materials from that decade. These details remain useful for productions that want accurate background texture without custom fabrication.

Florida Picture Car Rental Uses

A lifted 1978 f350 can serve as a character vehicle for drivers who work with their hands or operate in rural or industrial settings. In period scenes set in the late 1970s, the truck supplies immediate visual context through its shape, height, and color. Still photographers and music video directors sometimes place such vehicles in the frame to add depth to parking lots or roadside compositions.

Event producers and branded content teams in Florida can request the truck for displays that reference vintage work vehicles. The diesel automatic combination supports longer static displays or slow-moving shots where engine sound is not a primary concern. Location managers can pair the truck with other period elements already sourced in the Orange park area to keep set dressing consistent.
